I use Unity game engine with Visual Studio 2019 for coding. For creating sprites I use Krita but you can use any other software you are comfortable with.
I have learnt mostly from different YouTube tutorial, reading Unity documents or from Unity Answers forum.
If you are going to use Unity I could give you few tips to avoid the mistakes I have made during my beginner's days. You will get understand these tips when you are little familiar with Unity and VS2019.
1. Always test your UI with different resolutions in the editor. This mistake I did with my first game where UI was too big for anyone playing with lower resolution.
2. Using State Machine. It's quite helpful to learn state machine. I didn't learn it focus on it until my fourth game but it was quite helpful in it.
3.Understanding when to use Update() and FixedUpdated() methods. Update methods happens every frame while FixedUpdate happens at specific interval. You will mostly write your codes in Update() method but in some cases where you need to some value gradually increase over time, you will need to write them in FixedUpdate. If you write such value in Update then it will increase or decrease faster in computer with higher framerates.
I'm a programmer and I have a passion for gaming. That passion also makes me think about studying game coding too. When I get a job, finish my courses and etc, I'll look into Unity and the programming languages necessary. I like the idea of making 2d games better, given the fact that sometimes 3d can be really goofy if there's not that much detail to it.
If I do, I can say you are my inspiration. Btw, is it easy to make these games? Like, is the code complexity and syntax complicated or is it self explanatory? Like, something easy to understand with linear logic (not those messed up logics that only Sherlocks can understand)
It's difficult at times but not Sherlocks level. You will learn as you make games. For example, I tried making Poker game an year ago and saw a really complicated tutorial about it. Unfortunately it was not written in C# so it was cancelled. Later for LSH, I was determined to implement it so I tried to understand the mechanics behind it, code with my past experience and made a simple poker game.
I received an email from ich that the version of the game has been updated, but here the version is the same as mine. Is this a bug or has the version been changed?
And there is no case of information when to wait for an update?
Interesting, what exactly do you mean by pixel art? Because it may mean just using different art technique to achieve same graphical fidelity like you doing now or somewhat a regression in that regard closer to how CB looked. But mostly I'm curios to see,
And second question souls-like in how combat works or in other aspects? Mostly because many hentai games that used that model had only on defeat adult scenes (also many guro) which I'm personally not fan of. Plus none have option to make succubi/incubi build (you need your enemies virility to survive :P)...

Combat and story is going to be dark like those games. There will be gore but that will be limited to little blood splatter when you attack enemies.
There will be an essence system. Each essence will have different perks. Hailey will have a giant's essence as her primary and others can be discovered exploring the world. If you have play Luna's home contract in Lustful Spirit Hunt you will know what canon essence Hailey gets along side her primary one.
Oh so it is just method you make art that is changing not its form. Thanks for clarification.
Darker tone is understandable, I don't see problem in that, Hailey is into exploring mine-shafts after all. And splashing blood on hit is understandable if you fighting organic enemies. I was more worried about decapitation, evisceration etc., even many FromSoft games don't have that.
LSH I will have to play yet, probably after that upcoming update. Because last time I spent about 30+ min in hunted mod playing hide and seek with ghost on the Asylum map and I was the seeker... had no luck finding the ghost room. So now you peeked my interest once more.

Followed quickly by why can't you include that information directly on the downloads page? I get "We decided to remake the game and include the old version on the downloads page" but why can't you rename the old version as "vx.x.x (old version)" so that us long time multiple supporters with brain injuries aren't hard pressed to not scream?
Just look when a game is uploaded if its uploaded ages ago its an older version. Also in the file name if the version number v.5.4.2 for example is an older compared to v0.6.3
And also the update isnt out yet the creator is just annoucing what is in the next update
Annie's gameplay is yet to be added in the game. Below images I have mentioned update v0.6.3 to be the latest one. If that's shows v.1.0.x then the game is updated.
Is it a sperate game? Because I seem to have openend two seperate windows. One from the Annie Gameplay and one from the actual game? I guessing the update still has to be released?
No. Do you remember that girls you see in level 15. In the new updates they will be scattered in different places and rescuing them will unlock levels for Annie.
Yeah, I was going to draw her with shorts but wanted to refine my cloth physics understanding so left her with skirt. Unfortunately I'm not going to add cloth layer on her sex animations so she will be naked during sex scenes.
I bought the game, it's cool, I finished it 100%. Looking forward to the sequel with even more CG. Can you tell us which artist made the CGs for you (or if it’s you)? They are quality.
